the godfather brings the funk on his biggest hit ever, released forty five years ago. it made it to number three on the pop chart and topped the rhythm and blues chart for over a month. maceo parker plays a killer sax; and the hardest working man in show business cuts loose with some fancy footwork. chances are this one'll make y'all feel good, as long as you don't try to keep up with his moves. i got a chance to see him live in the nineties, and he was still doing his stuff.
